Sands Bethlehem Pledges 10,000 Hygiene Kits to Clean the World

This weekend, more than 200 volunteers gathered at Sands Bethlehem, a Bethlehem, Pa., casino and entertainment destination owned by Las Vegas Sands Corp. to help assemble 10,000 hygiene kits for social enterprise Clean the World for the third year in a row. The kits, which are designed to address the significant global and domestic need for personal hygiene products to help people who lack access to basic amenities, will benefit 23 charitable organizations in the greater Lehigh Valley.  The volunteer event, which took place at the property, is one of a series of hygiene kit builds at LVS' properties in Macao, Singapore, Bethlehem and Las Vegas in 2017 as a part of Sands Bethlehem's global corporate citizenship program, Sands Cares. The program's goal is to support Clean the World's mission to promote good health and well-being around the globe through improved access to soap and hygiene education…total number of hygiene kits created by Sands Bethlehem for Clean the World to 45,000.  (more)
