Since its beginnings in 1997, Taggart Associates has strived to set itself apart by taking a personal approach to community and economic development, environmental planning, transportation planning, nonprofit services, and project management. Our special understanding of the issues comes from more than 50 years of combined experience and expertise in these areas. Our planning and design philosophy is tested, grounded, and implemented into every solution. We take an individual approach when addressing and resolving all aspects of each project so that we can help communities build unique urban environments. Our Passion
We truly care about urban communities. Taggart Associates not only understands the dynamics of urban redevelopment but is committed to helping create vibrant, healthy downtowns and neighborhoods. You can often find us spending our own free time (and money) in cities. We walk the walk – especially if it's on a tree-lined sidewalk next to a row of small businesses that have made facade improvements.

Our Perspective
Prior to joining forces at Taggart, we were nonprofit managers, bankers, marketing managers, municipal employees, and corporate suit-types, so wherever you’re coming from, we can relate. We understand the challenges and opportunities related to urban revitalization, and we enjoy helping our clients work through them.

One of the things that set Taggart Associates apart from other firms is our excellent working relationships with numerous state, federal, and local officials, which comes in handy when facing project funding and deadline concerns. Taggart Associates is woman-owned and -led, and is a Certified Disadvantaged Business Entity. Our team also has a ton of talent on the bench and a roster full of great firms and agencies we've partnered with in the past.
